I think this product is great value! I enjoy watching this particular doctor from the series.

"Magnificent Opening!"

Series 6 Part 1 is one of the best openings to Doctor Who since it regenerated back onto our screens in 2005. The opening episode (The Impossible Astronaut) is by far Steven Moffat's best work yet. A massive reveal is given involving River Song in “A Good Man Goes To War” and Matt Smith continues to be ‘Cool’ as he returns to everyones favorite role, The Doctor. No one could simply argue with the Fact that “The Doctors Wife” written by Neil Gaiman is one of the best episodes since “Blink”.

Each of both DVD's come with a “Monster File”. The Monster Files are about 15–20 minutes long and provides information about what happens behind the scenes of a Doctor Who Monster/Villain. In the Series 6 Part 1 DVD's, the Monster Files are based on the Silence (Steven Moffat's latest brilliant Creation) and The Gangers (Also a very scary monster!). Both Monster Files are very interesting for anyone who wants to be involved in film making or just loves finding out how things go from script to screen.

The cast are also one of the best, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are back and better than before taking on their previous roles, Amy and Rory. Alex Kingston also returns as the mysterious River Song, who later has a MUST SEE reveal for any Doctor Who fan.

As already said, Doctor Who Series 6 Part 1 is Fantastic! it will keep any DW fan happy for a Full 5 hours and 42 minutes. Steven Moffat has truly unleashed the amazing writer he really is, as he keeps some things a mystery, but presents some genius reveals. Doctor Who doesn't ever get any better than this.
