"Cool Vampire movie."
3 stars"

I had really enjoyed the first film from these directing brothers, “Undead”. They made that for almost nothing and it was very cool. They had more money on this and it shows, the production values are very high. Also, I had always wanted to work on a cool vampire movie and I got the chance to work on a couple of the vampire effects on this. The film flows really well, the cast are good and obviously having a lot of fun in their roles. The effects are really good, almost every actor in it has some kind of effects makeup etc to deal with. I did find the end a bit silly, it feels a little like the money might have run out and they had to tack on a disappointing gore feast.

So, overall and fun vampire film (with no sparkling vampires!!!) that looks great and has some excellent Blu-Ray features.

"Stylish & entertaining"

It won't win an Oscar, but it was entertaining enough. It was also plausible enough… For a vampire movie. Neill not the only kiwi in this Aussie flick.

"Just thrilling"
5 stars"

Ever since I saw this film before it was released and helped the “media police” decide on a suitable rating I've always had a profound respect for this film. It's a unique take on a Vampire society (none of that twilight crap).

The year is 2019 and humanity has embraced the vampire (so to speak) many thought this was a new era and it certainly was but not a nice perfect era they were looking for. Now having seemingly run out of blood to drink the vampires rush to create a new drug which would cure their need for blood, but however like any other film the main character defects and fights against his people while somehow discovering the cure himself.

Brilliant cast, epic story. R16 for a reason. Lock up your daughters, crack open a beer. Enjoy
