The second best new zealand show of all time (pulp sport being the best).
Every character and story is so well contructed. Its great to see we can make shows other/better than shortland street, and that we actually have decent actors here among us kiwi's.

I never watched this show when it was on TV but when I heard the complete series was hitting DVD, I had to grab it just based on the good things I've heard about it.
One good thing about missing it on TV is that I now get to watch the entire show without waiting a week for the next episode (or a year for the next season)!

I absolutely loved it. The cast were awesome (especially Antony Starr) and the writers made some excellent storylines with great drama and hilarious comedy.

I do have a few nitpicks with the DVD set itself though. It could've done with some original (spoiler-free) boxart and it would have been VERY cool to have a booklet full of goodies.
For some stupid reason they put the bonus disc in the first case (after the season three discs), so naturally I assumed it only had extras and interviews for the first three seasons. I had to hit the ‘eject’ button when I realised they were talking about something from season six!
I've heard that this box set is actually ‘missing’ extras that are on the individual season releases but as I don't have those I can't confirm that.
It was also annoying that NONE of the discs had captions for the hearing impaired.

Laugh till you cry and cringe with the antics of the West Family. The one family crime spree with morals so high you wouldn't stub your toe on them!
Oh, there are those who claim not to have watched, but mention what Van and Munter are up to, or which particular vendetta Ted has to right this time and see them smile! Watch the whole series from the start and see what made this the greatest New Zealand TV series ever.

My partner and I love outrageous we watched the whole box set and can't wait for the next session to get our Van hit!! So addcitive
