"A great gift of music"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

He voice is one of a kind and even though she maybe singing other peoples songs, her gift is making them sound so special you would think it was all her.

Great present for mum for x-mas/b'day/mothers day.

Susan has a wonderful voice, great songs, pity some of our today supposed singers don't follow her example

Description

Boyle has hinted that it will have a 1960s feel "because that was my era". Songwriter Wayne Hector has said that the album will have more original tracks than cover versions (unlike her previous album I Dreamed A Dream which only had one Susan Boyle original on it). Hector said "obviously, I don't think they want to go down exactly the same road as the last one. Not that it'll be miles away from it."

It will be produced by Steve Mac, who says "Now Susan’s used to the studio and the recording process, this time round we might go even further down a traditional route of recording by getting a band together and rehearsing songs before we go into the studio to see what works, how she reacts with certain parts, and so we can change the arrangements that way. I think that’s going to work much better....With Susan it’s very important she connects with the public and the public connect with her. She doesn’t want to sing anything that hasn’t happened to her or she can’t relate to."

But according to The Mirror newspaper, Boyle is being "developed into a "cool"" artist for her second album and the people behind her are hoping to "sex up" her image somewhat"". They also claim that she will duet with "a heavyweight American rapper as the guest female vocalist", and will work with urban music producer Naughty Boy. The paper's source said "They are looking at ballads and more musical style stuff, but this time around they want to try to make her a recording artist - original material and giving Susan a chance to show what she's really all about. She's got an opportunity to find herself and she loves all sorts of music - including rap....As well as hip-hop SuBo is being lined up to work with the dance world too. She's going to be recording with super-hot Swedish writer Sharon Vaughn, who penned Agnes fantastic club hit Release Me"

Boyle has suggested the album will include some Jazz numbers now she's "a bit more content" within herself. "My next album has to have an element of surprise in it again. I'm hoping to make it better and a bit extra special."
