Buddhist Rain is the new album from Rattle Records, showcasing a collaboration between two NZ creative powerhouses: poet & writer Bill Manhire & jazz musician Norman Meehan.

This new recording sees Meehan presenting Manhire’s lyrics in jazz settings, with Meehan, Colin Hemmingsen & Hannah Griffin providing the music & vocals; and Manhire reading from his latest collection, The Victims Of Lightning.

Recorded with Steve Garden at the legendary Garden Shed, Buddhist Rain marks an inspired collaboration, and one which speaks of greater things to come.
