"Good Gardening Advice"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This is really a must have for any Kiwi gardeners. Yates do good garden books with plenty of sound and sensible advice. Easy to read and to find stuff, it's a book you will come back to. Only two minor gripes I have, one is that the range of produce could be bigger, and I didn't like many of the recipes, but that's just personal preference. If you have green thumbs, you will enjoy this book.

"This is a really lovely book to look at, read and cook from."

This is a very pratical book with practical gardening and cooking ideas. It has a little history of the Yates family, hints for growing vegetables and although there are not many, the photos make it a very appealing garden/kitchen handbook. The recipes are generally easy and fresh with easily obtained ingredients.
