There's been a lot of reviews of this film already, and I can't hope to top them.

This movie deserves all the accolades it deserves, with special praise to the lead actresses for delivering such incredibly raw and brave performances. Superlative in every way.

Description

Blue Is the Warmest Colour, also known as Adele: Chapters 1 & 2, is a 2013 French romantic coming of age drama film on DVD, written, produced, and directed by Abdellatif Kechiche and starring Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos.

Adele's life is changed forever when she meets Emma, a young woman with blue hair, through whom she discovers desire, and a willingness to assert herself as a woman and an adult. A passionate, intimate journey of discovery that will remind all of the power of first loves.
