Finest (American) account of WWII made and BluRay sets it off perfectly, could almost believe you are there!

Haven't watched the Blu-Ray DVD yet so can't comment on the bonus features, but remember the show was amazing when it aired.
So well produced, so well shot. It's hard to describe. I would say if you liked Saving Private Ryan then this is like that… But longer… Which is all good!

Terrific performances from every single actor. I have seen it twice now, and will watch it again. Tears will definitely be shed. Tissues will be run out. Your home will be flooded with tears. Furthermore, your favourite button on the remote would be “Replay”.
Also, some short scenes of Simon Pegg, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and many other famous people.
I am glad that Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg invest their money in such an amazing series.
