The title just tells you what to do before you go into this movie. The movie itself is good – the acting, sounds, scenes, and effects are all top notch. However, the cliche “against ridiculous odds” made this a movie you couldn't enjoy if you wanted realism. Yes, the comparisons have been made to “independence day” and “District 9”, but I think I liked this movie more because of that. It's just the fact the aliens didn't wipe them out when they could have a number of times during the movie was the only real downer. Overall, I'd highly recommend.
This was a high action sci fi with off world aliens trying to command and conquer our planet Earth. And every fighter is pulled into a war to fight them off .lots of special affects ,totally worth watching if your into sci fi and war movies this is the movie to see.
Battle: Los Angeles
Witness the end of civilisation unfold as hostile alien invaders attack the planet. As people everywhere watch the world’s great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected.
Now it's up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they’ve ever encountered, in this epic sci-fi action film.
