Author Biography

Patrick M.R. Gibson was born in 1928 and grew up mainly in Burma, Siam, Sumatra and India. In 1944 he returned to Britain and spent five terms at school before being called up for National Service. After thirty months in the RAF he joined the chemical industry, married and had a family. He retired aged 69. He is the author of 'Childhood Lost - A Boy's Journey through War' (1999).
