"Not A album ... A Diary entry on CD"
5 stars"

A great overall album. You can really feel his pain through his music from losing his mother or his wife to be leaving him. You can really feel his message and that why this album is a personal Diary entry that his has put out for the world to listen to. The main song that emphasises this is “Welcome to heartbreak” which has a real feel around how the bright lights really take a toll on him. It does have some songs that are upbeat and have a dance beat to it “Paranoid” " Amazing" really shows his diversity.

A must have album even if you are not a hip hop head its really a good album to think around how life is and how it could/should and would be.

"It All Sounds The Same!"
3 stars"

Okay I'm usually a massive fan of Kayne. His last album “Graduation”, had the catchy rap tunes “The Good Life” and “Stronger”. Kayne's a brilliant rapper, and this album demonstrated that he should really stick to the rapping, and not attempt to sing… ever again!

Basically this whole album is Kayne singing, except that since he's not that great of a singer, his voice has been auto-tuned which gives it a echo-y, synthesized sound. This does sound awesome for the first few tracks, until you realize that the WHOLE CD sounds like this.

The two singles “Love Lockdown” and “Heartless” are definitely the stand out tracks on this CD. “Love Lockdown” almost has an African drumming beat, which is really quite catchy and fits Kayne's synthesized voice quite well. “Heartless” is the second single released and again the backing music fits with the weird robotic like voice.

Overall this album is pretty average. If your wanting to buy an awesome Kane West album, I'd definitely recommend “Graduation” over this.
