Should be a solid laptop for almost anything. 16GB ram is quite rare for this price range, and the processor is top of the line and the graphics card is decent too. The hard drive is also very fast for a laptop. I highly recommend.

Good specs for relatively cheap price is what got me to buy this laptop. Did not think you could get 2.5 GHZ with 16 GB ram and a mid range GPU (GTX 850m) for under $1800 but it was a nice supprise to find.
Its fast and quite powerful but I have not tried any games so not sure about that part of it. Also I love the picture and the colors are vibrant in HD.
The black plastic finish however is cheap looking and its very easy to leave fingerprints on it which are hard to clean. Also I have read that it runs hot and loud but I have yet to experience this, but for what you pay its well worth the money.
