Today at Mighty Ape HQ we celebrated the engagement of long-time staff members Scott and Rhia.
Having met some three years ago online on World of Warcraft, it seemed only fitting that Scott popped the question overlooking the beautiful city of Stormwind.
Dressed in a tux, Scott presented Rhia with a flawless diamond solitaire ring, which triggered a flood of tears but not before she could say “Yes!!”
We've been described as a team of “real Internet people” and I guess this really proves it.
Please join us in offering our congratulations to Scott and Rhia.
PS: yes, Rhia received a ring IRL too! :P

Thank you all for your kind words – I realise to some it might be lame/cheesy and by all accounts unconventional – but what makes it perfect to me is the amount of thought put into it and the undeniable proof that Scott knows me, and knows me well. There's no other way he could have done it that would have meant more to me, that's why I said yes! :)
