The EasyFlow™ Technology requires less force to inject insulin resulting in quicker, less painful injections. The Pentapoint™ comfort needle tip design further enhances this as it ensures the needle penetrates the skin more easily further reducing the discomfort and pain of injections.

BD Ultra-Fine™ Pen Needles are available in a number of needle lengths, however current guidelines recommend the use of 4mm or 5mm needles for all children or adults needing to inject insulin. These shorter 4mm or 5mm needles ensures insulin is injected at the correct depth into the subcutaneous layer, and not into the muscle.
