"This kettle is very quiet so far, not as heavy as many other kettles the same size. Although it does boil to 100% I feel they need better thermostats in them so the water makes a nice hot coffee."

Buy like some of the other reviewers., I enjoy it's so much that I bought this new replacement with hopes of a longer life. The new one has added protection against boiling dry too.
