Meteor's internal bracing strengthens the piston in the most critical areas: the pin bore and skirt.This bracing adds support to the pistons thrust faces and decreasing friction in the piston’s pin boss. Meteor also uses a special molybdenum disolphure long - life coating which helps to decease heat, provides excellent sliding properties, therefore lowering friction and increasing piston - to - cylinder life. The outcome is a piston that is built stronger - better, more durable that produces more power.
