Author Biography

After forty-one years, John H. King, Jr. retired as president and CEO of HDS Services, a national food management company. He was promoted to his first leadership position, Corporate Vice President of Operations, at the age of thirty-three. He has been an adjunct professor at Michigan State University since the early 1990’s. Dr. Ronald F. Cichy, Ph.D., NCE5, CHA Emeritus, CFBE, CHE, has been the director of the School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University since 1988. His first leadership position, at twenty-four, was as the General Manager for a resort hotel. He is a frequent speaker at meetings, and institutes for business.
