Author Biography

Kat Delacorte was eleven years old when her family moved to Italy from the United States. She lived and attended school in rural Umbria for five years, where she began to write stories about her friends developing superpowers, which eventually became the basis this novel. She graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University in 2018 with a BA in History, and recently began her MPhil at Cambridge.
