Geoffrey has spent much of his life helping to create beloved family entertainment in Hollywood. After working at several entertainment companies including ABC Television and The Hollywood Reporter, Geoffrey was hired at Universal Pictures where he worked many years in creative development, production and post production on more than thirty produced feature films. Geoffrey was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and holds a B.A. in Communication from USC. He is married to his sweetheart Ramya Black. “Why Did God Make Dinosaurs” is their debut children’s picture book. Ramya is a graduate of the Walt Disney Feature Animation Training Program and worked as an animation artist on numerous Disney projects including feature films, TV animation and theme park attractions for Disney’s California Adventure and Tokyo Disney. She also served as an animation artist on feature and TV animation projects for DreamWorks and Sony. An avid reader and an award-winning painter in Sri Lanka where she grew up, Ramya’s lifelong dream has been to illustrate children’s books, a dream which now comes true with “Why Did God Make Dinosaurs?” Ramya is a graduate of the Walt Disney Feature Animation Training Program and worked as an animation artist on numerous Disney projects including feature films, TV animation and theme park attractions for Disney’s California Adventure and Tokyo Disney.
