Sheryl Sookman Schelter, CMP, is principal of The MeetingConnection®, a specialized recruiting and placement company based in Novato, California that works with corporations, associations, and third-party meeting management companies to fill positions in the meetings industry. Sheryl is an active member of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Since 1994, she has written a regular Career Forum Column for Meetings Media’s Magazines. With more than twenty-five years experience in the meeting industry, she is a sought-after speaker at conferences and webinars on career and employment related issues.
