Author Biography
Laura Malanik was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. Upon graduating from St. Petersburg High School in 1994, she attended The University of North Carolina as a member of the UNCA tennis team. Laura received her Batchelor’s degree in Psychology and minor in health and wellness from UNCA in 1998. Laura later moved on to pursue further education at The University of Florida. With a Master’s degree from the department of Education and Specialist in Mental Health Counseling from UF she went on to follow a career in mental health therapy and writing.
