His subsequent successful stay in rehab led to the inspiration for his song “God or the Gun.”

Author Biography

Ty Herndon is an American country music artist with multiple chart-topping hits including number one singles “Living In a Moment,” “What Mattered Most,” and “It Must Be Love.” He made headlines in 2014 as the first mainstream male country music star to come out as gay. He lives in Nashville with his husband Alex Schwartz.
