Experience the everyday challenges of a female firefighter. This is a true story of the author when she was employed in a rural fire department. Leaving the security of a cushy management position and entering into a sometimes-harsh world taught her many life-long lessons. You will feel her pain as she attempts and succeeds in the firemen’s challenge test. The events are based on a woman’s perspective of the daily grind, while working in a man’s world. She experiences tragedies from destroyed homes, to being first on the scene of a horrific auto accident. Share in her highs and lows.
