That’s exactly what I got. After a horrible car accident, I woke up in the hospital with no memory of my past, surrounded by strangers – or rather, my parents. Moments in time, memories made, all gone…as if they never existed. Time passed, and my body healed while my mind remained locked, leaving me with a blank slate. Life around me returned to normal, and I was simply expected to climb aboard. Except, I was barely hanging on. Resigned to the fact that my memories might never return, I broke up with my boyfriend, packed up all my things, and headed to Colorado, where I’d planned to attend college in the fall. There, I could start over, be myself, away from watchful eyes and sympathetic looks. However, I never expected to meet Jack. Falling for him wasn’t part of the plan.
