Each of the work’s four main sections, morphology and ontogeny, molecular and biochemical properties, involvement in damage and regeneration, and glia in pathology, covers research as it relates to glial cell biology. Within each of these sections, individual chapters introduce readers to advanced topics, present research results, and direct them to related research.
