Beneath the glittering stars of Pennsylvania’s Dark Skies, people are few and zombies fewer. Imogen’s faith in humanity-normally abundant-is shaken by the suspicion that a fellow survivor sabotaged their escape from the zoo, forcing her to leave her Iberian lynxes behind.

Reeling from his failure to save his sisters and girlfriend, Mike does what he always has: step up. Protecting everyone is easier said than done, however. Some people care only about themselves, and fractured by in-fighting, factions are forming.

As a threat beyond their isolated sanctuary closes in, the divided group must unite. If they can’t, the greatest danger they face might not be zombies but each other.

Author Biography

A.M. Geever is known for her action-packed post-apocalyptic and dystopian adventures. An avid reader of science fiction and fantasy from an early age, the only job she ever wanted-besides being a writer-was to be a Star Fleet Officer. She credits her love of all things post-apocalyptic to her brothers, whose influence in books, music, and film continues to this day, although her tolerance for puns and movies that are “so bad they’re good” is a whole lot lower than theirs. The idea of becoming a zombie because her car runs out of gas gets her to the gas station when she would rather not bother. Other apocalypses inspire good intentions to get up to speed on prepping but so far, all she’s got is a bug out bag. Trained as a theologian, her work often explores the role of religious belief in post-apocalyptic and dystopian societies. Her award-winning debut series, The Undead Age, was released beginning in 2019. Steel City Apocalypse is the second series set in the Undead Age universe.
