Penny Watson is an award-winning writer, journalist and author who has travelled the world for her craft. She has written six solo travel books including Slow Travel (2019) and Wilderness (2023) and countless travel features for newspapers, magazines and websites around the globe. She camped across Australia for the original Ultimate Campsites Australia, and has relished the opportunity to return home from Bali, where she currently resides, to update the new second edition.
