The Black Sorrows are celebrating over 40 years as a blues rock band formed in 1983 by mainstay vocalist Joe Camilleri (ex-Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons). The Story: “Maybe you never need to know when to stop with what you love doing. I’m 76,,still just a kid and a fool for it. Father Time and Mother Earth ain’t gonna stop me just yet.
“Nick Smith and I do what we do. We write songs. There still seems to be a need for us to do that together. The Way We Do Business business was born, but of course, it never played out to how you imagine – it really only happens that easy your head. Old-fashioned values with as many people who I’ve worked with that still love what they do was my charter.
“From where I stand The Way We Do Business is one of the best records I’ve ever been involved with. After all, you can only give it your best at all times. That’s the way I do business.”
