The Throne of Annwn

The Council of Nobles is openly trying to kill Tom and civil war is threatened in Annwn if Myfanwy will not agree to marry Alwyn apBryn. Torn between her love of Tom and her love for her people, she accompanies Tom into the high Himalayas, to confront a group of rogue monks who are steering an asteroid towards the Earth. There they will face magic, fighting monks, wild yeti and the consequences of violence and murder. It is a challenge designed to tear them apart and if they fail, millions will die. Yet the real challenge awaits them only if they succeed.

Author Biography

A scientist, theologian, poet and author; Joseph H.J. Liaigh started writing fantasy and science fiction while still studying science at the University of Melbourne. He went on to get his Ph.D. as part of a NASA guest investigation into the Martian polar ice caps. Since then he has worked as an Air Force intelligence officer, a government research scientist and a university lecturer. He has studied everything from marine conservation to the methane streams on the moons of Saturn. He writes fantasy from a unique Christian perspective. In his books, science, myth and religion all form an interwoven tapestry of danger, magic and faith: stories of journeys to other worlds and of finding wonder within our own.
