Lucille Giffone was born in New York City and now lives in Missouri, where she is retired and writing children’s books with a nature theme. However, The Shape Rebellion holds a dear place for the author. It recalls the days when Ms. Giffone was a teacher in NYC and had to teach simple geometry to second graders.
