The Lookie Loos recorded their self-titled album at York Street Studios in Auckland with Clint Murphy, which was then mastered by Sterling Sound in New York.
The debut album features a broad spectrum of rock music, from the melancholy Heavens and A Change Will Come to the driving and jiving Will I Be Lonely.
