The Guardian of Threshold

How far would you go to see a dead relative again? While other sixteen-year-olds are out chasing girls, a ghost is haunting Mark Anthony Ryser. Consumed with the guilt that he caused his mother’s death, Mark dreams of seeing her again. When he learns to astral travel, Mark believes he has finally found a way to do just that. That’s until he meets Phasma, the Guardian of Threshold, whose mission is to prevent anyone from crossing into the world of the dead. But Mark isn’t about to let anything stop him from seeing his mother again. Hunted by Phasma’s army of Night Dwellers and with the perils of Threshold intensifying, Mark has to rely solely on his own wits and friends if he’s to survive the night. Will Mark find his mother… or will he join her in the afterlife?

Author Biography

Adrian Volts, was born in Brazil, he fell in love with the English language at a very young age. He was 8 at the time, from then on he studied the language and wrote. He wrote his first book with a pencil in one hand and a Portuguese to English dictionary on the other. When he was 19 years old, he moved to the United States to pursue his dreams. He started writing his debut novel “The Guardian of Threshold” on a summer evening of 2008, after several revisions and rewrites the novel was finally ready for prime time.
