The Facial Nerve

The participation of acknowledged experts in basic “neuroscience research at this Symposium created a new platform for an extensive exchange of information between clinicians and basic research workers. In this volume, basic research workers present fundamentally new findings on the physiology, pathophysiology, and functional neuroanatomy of the peripheral and central nerve. Clinicians are provided with the opportunity to update their knowledge in the rapidly developing field of basic neuroscience research while basic research workers will gain a new perspective on topics of current interest. The topics covered are also all of major interest for otologists, neurologists, neurophysiologists, neuroanatomists, neurosurgeons, plastic facial surgeons and other related disciplines.
