The Essence of Glastonbury

Grief drives people to make desperate decisions. Meg Cook has found some solace at the foot of Glastonbury Tor after the sudden death of her husband. She finds new depths to her spirit, new resolve to recover and a glimpse of who she is as a woman. Life and love are not as easy as they were when she was a teenager. Where is her duty? To her adult sons? To her dead husband? To taking away someone else ‘s pain? The ghost of her husband who haunts her dreams piles on guilt nightly. Sometimes it’s all too much. While at Glastonbury, she does learn of the three faces of the goddess. The Maiden, the Mother and the Crone. Little did Meg realize that these faces had nothing to do with her age. The lessons taught were necessary but difficult, so very difficult.
