The Bishop’s Epistle (2014) is the collection of the blog articles written by Bishop Jerry L Hayes for the year of 2014. These articles do not appear with any format in mind. They occur in the order as they appeared on Bishop Hayes’ blog site entitled Bishop’s Epistle (bishopjerrylhayes.bolgspot.com). Each essay reflects the subject matter with which the Bishop was concerned at the time of its writing. Although The Bishop’s Epistle (2014) is mostly theological in nature, articles do appear that deal with other subjects. An example is Epistle VIII of this volume which deals with the treaty between the government of the United States of America and the Chickasaw Indian Nation: Treaty with the Chickasaw, 1818. This present volume is the second in an open ended series of “The Bishop’s Epistle.” The first volume contained the epistles for the years of 2012 and 2013.
