Author Biography
Athlete, musician, and now, writer. For those that know her, it’s not a surprise that Orla has something to write about. Always witty and engaging, Orla O’Doherty has a way with words. She hails from Ireland and is the quintessential Irish lass, whose humor comes from her delightful Irish upbringing. She can entertain a room for hours. She is a top-notch talent in all she does. Her life experience has led her to the conclusion that to be happy and entertained is the highest order. Pursuing her many passions and laughing all the way is her full-time job. This, her first childrens book in a series of five about Odi, was inspired by her own pet Cairn terrier, who is almost five years old. As well as writing, Orla works as a squash professional and assistant manager at Fairmount Athletic Club in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
