Takom’s splendid large-scale Panzer I returns in Ausf!
B configuration, with a replacement runner for the variant’s changed engine deck and new lower hull; otherwise, the remaining 36 frames and turret top are unchanged. These are joined by a small PE fret for the engine deck and a length of braided copper wire for the tow cable. As with other releases in this series, the attention is focused on the exterior – the detail is superb, notably with the individual-link tracks. Markings are supplied for four early-war vehicles, including yellow-style Balkenkreuz seen during the invasion of Poland:
