At thirty, Colleen Avery has worked hard to get to where she is, putting her life on hold to achieve her dream of getting her medical degree. Now that her dream of becoming a doctor has come true she has set her sights on another dream, having a family. At forty-five, Blaine McKinley leads a busy life. He’s a successful businessman with three children and a demanding ex-wife. He puts everyone’s needs before his own. At the end of the day he gets into a cold empty bed, longing for someone to share it with. When Blaine and Colleen’s paths cross one day it’s instant attraction.
