Elisha O. Ogbonna, from Enugu in Igbo land, is a native speaker of the Igbo language. He has a background in teaching and translating English to Igbo, both in traditional and religious settings. He is the author of “Comprehensive Igbo Language: A Contemporary Guide for Beginners and Intermediate Learners, “ and Advanced Igbo Language: A Simplified Guide to Igbo Orthography, Phonology, Morphology and Lexicology.”
