Christie Holmgren is an avid birder and wildlife photographer. She has been photographing birds professionally for the past 20 years and has shown her work at the Portland Audubon Society Wild Arts Festival, Sunriver Art Faire, Wortman Park Art Gallery, Vermont Photoplace Gallery, West Linn Arts Festival, Carlton’s Walk in the Park, McMinnville Artists Village, Columbia Gorge Art Festival, Sacramento Arts Festival and Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts. Other books by this author include “B is for Bittern,” an alphabetical introduction to birding in Oregon and Southwest Washington (available on Amazon.com), and “The Pheasant Who Thought He was a Chicken” (available through Life’s so Sweet Publishing).
