Author Biography

Michael Wagner is the best-selling Australian author of more than 90 books for children including the much loved, 20-book Maxx Rumble series (in print for 20 years plus), the bestselling The Undys series, the Ted Series, the So Wrong series, Pig Dude: He Can Do ANYTHING!, the CBCA Honor picture book Dirt by Sea and the CBCA Notable picture books Why I Love Footy, Why I Love Summer and Bear Make Den (co-authored with his wife, Jane Godwin). Before writing for children, Michael worked for ten years as a radio broadcaster with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, wrote comedy, and wrote award-winning screenplays for film and television. Wayne Bryant is a super-versatile illustrator/designer/artist who’s proficient in most mediums, including television, advertising, film and books. His style ranges from realistic to cartoonish, from serious to humorous, from fine art to windswept. He’s created 3D and 2D animations and loves the latest technology, but also maintains his traditional skills. He lives in Melbourne with his wife, two children and dog.
