The Stranglers revisit their early days with ‘The Classic Collection’ reissue series.
The campaign sees Rhino Records reissue expanded CD editions of all of their early albums, from their 1977 debut ‘Rattus Norvegicus’ through to 1981’s ‘La Folie’. Each release in ‘The Classic Collection’ features the original album alongside special bonus tracks, which include non-album singles, b-sides and select rarities. Rattus Norvegicus is the debut studio album by the Stranglers, originally released in April 1977. It was one of the highest-selling albums of the punk era in Britain, eventually achieving platinum record sales.
