Author Biography
Tanya Martinek is a children’s book author and illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia. She has loved to draw and make stories since she was a child. She remembers getting out of schoolwork for most of sixth grade while she wrote and illustrated Planet Grudge Wudge. She has a love for colour, quirkiness, and the slightly ridiculous! With a background in fine art, she has used many mediums to create artworks and incorporates drawing, painting, printing, collage, and digital techniques into her illustrations.
