Cryocrystals are a small group of substances that are gaseous at room temperatures and solid at very low temperatures (examples are neon, argon, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, ammonia). These solids are useful objects for studying many fundamental problems of condensed matter physics. The simpler atomic cryocrystals have been reviewed before, but molecular crystals much less so. One feature of this text is that it provides the current understanding of the physics of molecular cryocrystals. The study also contains detailed tables of important physical properties that can be used in thermophysical applications and studies.
