"Unfortunately, the cat worked out how to get at her wound despite this collar. I think you have to make sure it stays pulled forward so it looks like the head is inside petals, rather than have it sit flat. If the cat can figure out how to flatten the collar, then they can 100% still irritate a healing wound. She was healing nicely for 2 days before she discovered how to still lick the very base of her tail. But it would work nice and comfy for less sneaky cats I think."
