Author Biography

David T. Curtis works for the United States Treasury Department, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Product Design Division responsible for designing United States currency, passports and other security documents. He has been designing with Adobe Illustrator for over 25 years. He earned a computer graphics art degree from the University of Maryland, and went to work for the Printing Corporation of America. David worked in the commercial printing industry for many years and then was hired by the United States Treasury Department to develop and enhance technology for new United States currency designs. David has received multiple technical achievement awards, and is a recognized technical expert worldwide.
