Origami Games

Like every origami book, Origami Games shows through words and diagrams how to make origami. What makes this book unique is that it’s also a game book. It offers suggestions on how to use the origami to play both competitive games, which allow players to test their skills against each other using scorekeeping to determine a winner, and cooperative games, which provide fun ways for players to work as a team. The book also encourages readers to come up with and document their own games using a template provided in the back of the book.

Author Biography

Joel Stern has conducted many origami workshops for all ages in camps, schools, community centers and libraries. Joel is the author of Animated Origami Faces, Jewish Holiday Origami, as well as Washington Pops!, a collection of do-it-yourself pop-up cards of famous buildings in Washington, D.C. Joel lives in Los Angeles with his family.
