"For day to day use, it's great! Easy for your chair to roll on and protects your carpet. Some warnings however: - It arrives rolled up, and is very difficult to unroll. It will flatten out, it just takes a few days and maybe some weights. Sunlight and hot water might help, but mine eventually flattened on its own after a week or two. - It will smell for a few days, a chemical, sulphurous smell. - After 2–3 years of regular heavy use, it will begin to disintegrate. Cracks will form between the dots on the mat and shards will begin to fall off. This is not a forever-mat."
"Hard to unroll, so heat it up in the sun first. My first one lasted about 2 years before breaking like glass due to a thick carpet and heavy use. Going to get another and not looking forward to unrolling it."
