He is a former investment banker, a past president of The New York Association of Business Economists, and was a senior marketing and communications executive of Mobil Corporation and two Big Six accounting firms. The author of Competing for Clients and the editor of The Marcus Letter on Professional Services Marketing, he is also a regular contributor to two online magazines on the Microsoft Network.
