Nelson's Story

A chance encounter in a Belfast car park puts a dent in Dr Nelson’s beloved ‘P’n‘J’ Mercedes. But when an attractive dark-haired young woman steps out of the other car, his credulity is more than dented. It’s blown apart, and so is his comfortable life as a haematologist.

The girl’s the spitting image of Nelson’s long lost love, Rita, a fellow medic who went to America and was confirmed dead in a car crash.

Soon, Nelson’s brains and his training as a Para are called into play, as he discovers what really happened to Rita. He flies to California to meet the men responsible – drug barons Paco and Raimondo Garcia – and the action swings to Mexico and a spectacular showdown at the Garcia ranch.

Nelson’s shooting skills, and his smart work with a swordstick, prove vital to the outcome, as do his Para friend, Col. Watson, and a street-hardened Semtex handler called Seamus Murphy.
